How it all started
“It was August 2004, and I was at the ExCeL Centre in London Docklands, England. Seated in a conference room filled with eager individuals, I was ready to embark on a life coaching diploma with The Coaching Academy. I could feel the anticipation and optimism in the air. We were about to learn how to change lives, including our own. This experience would be the catalyst for a journey—a quest to release my true potential and help others do the same.
It took me several years to earn my diploma since my primary occupation was in Computer Science and leading organisation change, a career that would span for another two decades. Despite being my profession and ensuring my financial needs were met, my heart desired to become a life coach. I couldn’t consider anything more important than helping others to live their best lives, and that started with living my own.
As a student coach, I learned about goal-setting, time management, and segmenting our lives into parts we can explore. I discovered the art of listening, asking powerful questions, and uncovering beliefs that limited our potential. One thing I learned was how to mirror body language and how to observe those subtle gestures that reveal someone’s true feelings. And something so important to being our best: reframing, a powerful technique to help us view our challenges, situations, or perspectives in a different light. I also learnt how to master the GROW model, a technique for setting goals and solving problems, which I use often.
These were invaluable tools that set me apart from my peers at work, and studying how to become a coach ignited a fire, a potential within me. But despite the invaluable lessons, I was looking for more. I wanted a deeper understanding of how to view my life as a whole experience. I sought to explore this potential and unlock it, something that has occupied the minds of many for millennia. I wanted to see it, picture it, navigate it. I longed for a guide that would take me beyond tools and techniques and show me the way to being the best version of myself I could be and live my best life…”

About MyNine Ways
MyNine Ways is a pathway to becoming the best version of yourself. This pathway has nine guides, presenting you with a unique approach to your personal growth, combining the power of symbolic numbers and deeply rooted values, enabling and encouraging you to create a life you love.
Each of the nine ways, symbolised by numbers 1 to 9, represents a fundamental aspect of life – from leading and partnering to creating, building, transforming, nurturing, seeking, managing, and giving. These numbers serve as potent reminders of the principles each embodies, making them easy to integrate into your daily routine. They encourage a personal connection, allowing you to find unique significance based on your experiences and beliefs.
MyNine Ways begins with My Way of Leading, symbolised by the number 1. It’s about taking charge of your life with values like courage, independence, and boldness. This isn’t just about leading others; it’s about being the leader of your own life, visualising your best self, and consistently practicing self-care.
Following is My Way of Partnering (number 2), which explores becoming a harmonious partner with life itself. This way emphasises values like cooperation, humility, and sensitivity, focusing on building and maintaining relationships and aligning your current position with your future goals.
The journey continues with My Way of Creating (number 3), which encourages you to be a conscious creator of your life, embodying happiness, creativity, and enthusiasm. This Way fosters connections within your community and engages you in meaningful work.
Each subsequent number introduces a new dimension of self-improvement: building a solid foundation for your life (number 4), transforming towards your vision (number 5), nurturing yourself and those in your care (number 6), seeking the deeper meaning of your life (number 7), managing your resources effectively (number 8), and finally, offering your best self to the world (number 9).
MyNine Ways is more than a method; it’s a symbolic language designed to guide you toward a happier, more fulfilled self. Each Way can be tailored to your personal interpretation, making your journey towards improvement uniquely yours.
Whether you’re seeking to reinvent your life, find balance, or simply enhance your current path, MyNine Ways offers a rich, adaptable framework for personal growth and fulfillment. Embark on this journey and unlock the potential of your best self.
